How It happened
Josh already had a video that talked about his business - but it wasn’t created to reflect his brand, his style, or him.
We discussed his vision and goals for his video and agreed upon a plan to produce the video.
Filming took three hours, and editing took roughly five hours. In the end, he has a video created for the sole purpose of promoting his work.
My one man band = Huge savings for you!
Full production teams are great and can give you lots of amazing content, but you can sometimes end up paying more in the end.
When offering you a quote, these teams may factor in direct and indirect operating expenses, like the design tools, set design, travel, office rent, administrative support… and the time to shoot and edit.
As a one-man operation, I don’t have to incorporate these expenses into the price I give you. I only consider the time we will spend shooting, and the time I will spend editing.
Why invest in new or updated content?
Talking about your service or product will only take you so far. It’s entirely different when you show people the benefit of what you offer.
Ask yourself these questions:
Do I have professional headshots for myself and my team, so customers can see who they will work with?
Do I share clear, distraction-free images of what I am offering to my customers?

I’m married to the love of my life and have one daughter who gives so much joy freely every day.
I’m the Photographer & Videographer for the School of Engineering at the University of Virginia, so I’m practicing my content creating skills every day, and getting better every day!
Why I’m seeking to do more freelance work? I have financial goals of my own and a family to provide for. I want to work hard so that my family doesn’t have to, and using my God-given abilities with a camera is a no-brainer for me. I want to help people tell their story, and make my community better for it.
